Promoting Zimbabwe's Tobacco Excellence
Our association was born out of a necessity to revitalize the tobacco industry in Zimbabwe. Prior to our formation, the Tobacco Trade Association had become dormant due to a sharp decline in crop size. This decline in production was alarming and prompted industry stakeholders to take action.
With unwavering dedication, TLEAZ has worked tirelessly to turn the tide. By 2017, we had succeeded in driving the crop size up, thanks to the resurgence of small-scale tobacco production and the revitalization of commercial production. This achievement stands as a testament to the resilience and determination of Zimbabwe's tobacco exporters.
